My little blog about steel garage
Recently PVC players have also ventured into the production of Quonset huts and have found great success in the wake of their durability and low maintenance. The first customers of this structure were interestingly the US Navy which was looking for a resilient and versatile building structure to cater their immediate needs to harbor safely their arms, soldiers and other supplies during the Second World War. The apparent utility lied in the ability of easy transport from the place of manufacture to the place of erection and assembly at the preferred location. To add on to the quality of hassle free erection it could be put to any use since it absolutely resisted any austerity of weather including rains, hail, snowfall etc. The applicability of these qualities of Quonset huts could not be ignored by the general public and soon they were used to erect warehouses, stores, shops, garages and even hangars.
