My little rants on baby announcements
Once you have your baby the tendency will be for you to want to call everyone up and tell them about it. You will soon realize that you do not have enough time to call everyone you know. Formal baby announcements have been used for many years for that very reason. Of course, nowadays you could just send a text message to everyone. You know that is really not the proper way to do it though.
