Even those family members who will be fortunate enough to be there for the actual birth will anxiously await a formal birth announcement to memorialize the event. First, there is the tough, yet fun, part: selecting just the right announcement. In the days before the Internet, there was really not much of a choice among the various birth announcement designs. Parents selected from preprinted baby announcement sets that pretty much varied only with the gender of the baby. Now, the Internet has changed all that.
